## Streaming (SSE)
|
|
|
|
Default `stream: true`. Two phases:
|
|
- **Reasoning phase:** `delta.reasoning_steps` with `type: thinking/web_search/fetch_url_content/execute_python`
|
|
- **Answer phase:** `delta.content` token by token
|
|
- **Final chunk:** `finish_reason` + `usage` with `prompt_tokens/completion_tokens/reasoning_tokens/num_search_queries`
|
|
|
|
**Pitfall (25.06.2026):** Non-streaming mode (`stream: false`) **times out at 30-90s** for complex queries because the server waits for full completion before responding. **ALWAYS use `stream: true` for queries >500 tokens** — parse SSE chunks and reconstruct final content from `delta.content` stream. `deep-reasoning` model is slowest (up to 120s), `deep-research` and `deep-discovery` are faster but still prefer streaming.
|

|
|
**Another pitfall:** Model name `apodex-0-7-30b-deepresearch-mini` shown in example curl on registration page is **WRONG** — returns `{"error":{"code":"model_not_found"}}`. Only the 3 models from `/v1/models` endpoint work.
|
|
|
|

## Bulk Registration (multiple accounts)
|
|
|
|
Free tier allows unlimited accounts per email. Bulk register via t-online.de:
|
|
|
|
1. Loop through `working_mails.txt` (17,893 available)
|
|
2. For each email:
|
|
- `POST /api/auth/register` with `{email, name, password: "[REDACTED]"}`
|
|
- Wait 5s, check IMAP for 6-digit code from `noreply@send.apodex.com`
|
|
- `POST /api/auth/verify` with `{email, code}`
|
|
- Login, navigate to API Keys, click "Create New Key", name it, save `sk-...` from dialog
|
|
3. Browser automation works without Turnstile — use `browser_navigate` to `https://platform.apodex.ai/register` → fill form → submit → check IMAP → enter code → create API key
|
|
|
|
Each account = independent API quota. Multi-account rotation useful for parallel research tasks.
|
|
|
|
**Note:** Direct API registration (`/api/auth/register`) didn't return expected response during 2026-06-25 attempt — use browser flow (slower but reliable).
|
